Renan Zelada Cisneros

I am a classically-trained, Dutch-Venezuelan composer based in Barcelona, making music for fiction films and documentaries. Musically, I’m inspired by melancholic, ethereal synths, combined with orchestral textures and highly processed samples and live recordings, creating intricate textures and moody soundscapes. Some of my inspirations are Ben Frost, Hildur Guðnadóttir, and Gustavo Santaolalla. My work fits well with narratives that have a human perspective, while often trying to evoke a sense of vastness, awe or sometimes cosmic dread. Whether crafting a tense, minimal underscore or a sweeping thematic climax, I bring a systematic yet deeply intuitive approach to every score, ensuring a professional-quality delivery that is ready for immediate integration into high-end film and broadcast projects.
