Independent solo artist, musician, songwriter and producer. Seeking opportunities to learn, grow, collaborate. Random facts about Mark Meier and Peaceful's Revenge ... It would be pretty cool to have a band and be rocking on stage someday! I am interested in selling some of the music I have wrote and produced to financially support me and help me stay in balance, as working a 9 to 5 seems to drain me from an energy standpoint spiritually. I am spiritual, by that I mean I am on a journey to be the best version of me that I can be. I succeed as well as fall short, the tides come and go. All of the music I have produced has been a learning experience within the last 6 years from when I picked up my first instrument, guitar. Currently I play percussion, guitar, bass, keys, and sing. I sort of just started to do everything, or stepped into it. Everything I have recorded and produced has been in a home studio with no budget (I use the word studio EXTREMELY loosely; essentially its a MacBook and interface and the cheapest instruments one can by), again I am flying by the seat of my pants, I've just figured out a way to do things using my ear and it works for now. I would love to work with a sound engineer and in a studio. I've never stepped foot in a studio. I will be so happy the day that arrives, if it ever does. I am egar to learn from professionals. I believe I have a lot of potential talent, and if connected with the right people, my talent will become useful. I know I have so much to learn! I've released 3 albums, all out of desperation because I don't know what else to do or where else to go to find any kind of opportunity. I am considering pulling those albums, as my distributor does not have the correct versions of the songs distributed and I can't get them to correct, however in reality, I would like to rework all of those albums with professionals because I believe with collaboration there is a lot of potential in the majority of the songs I have released. I am humble, grateful, and I have faith that someone will soon see my raw talent and want to invest their time and possibly money in working with me. I have wrote a lot of music, ALOT. The majority of it needs to be rerecorded and reproduced, as again, it's all been trail and error. I don't try to write in a particular genre or aim for a certain sound, every time I write, I purposely just let whatever is going to come, arrive at it wants to. I am the only person who has contributed to any of my work with the exception of the lyrics to one song. I feel my career could go in so many different direction, and I am not hanging on to only one possibility. I would like to be a successful artist, however I would find myself happy being a songwriter and selling music. At this point I'd probably be happy touring with a band setting up equipment, as it has been an extreme struggle for me to connect with anybody in the industry whatsoever. The future has so many possibilities ahead, I always keep that in mind. It has been a huge struggle for me to get noticed, to grow, to get people to listen to my music. One of the most frustrating things I've faced is that I have wrote the entirety of my music with virtually no feedback and no one listening to it. I submitted my first songs on Taxi, and I was elated to receive the first feedback I've ever received. I am excited to get more feedback, so I can improve. I'm more excited to hopefully connect with other songwriters and musicians to see what collaboration would bloom. I do not have money to promote, so all my efforts have been organic. Peaceful's Revenge, my artist name, is centered around Music, Nature, and Spirituality or the keeping and maintaining of personal health and balance through music and nature. The majority of the first 30 songs I recorded were recorded in a van deep in National Parks across the country. I did not know music theory then and listening to those old recordings I find my writing was more creative, as I only depended upon my ear. I hope to one day have an RV with a studio in it so I can get back to writing in nature, that is something extremely special to me. I hope that one day Peaceful's Revenge is a community of people supporting each other towards higher self. I have given absolutely everything I have to try to make Peaceful's Revenge successful. It has been a struggle. The absolute number one intention from day one, and the purpose of Peaceful's Revenge and every single song I've ever written or will write is to simply help another person. It is the core of what I am trying to do. Just help another person make through their journey, as I have faced some difficult times on my own, and music has been the only thing at times that has pulled me through. I am just trying to pay it forward. While I always try to remain positive and be the light, I am struggling recently in not being able to find any opportunity to further my career or make some money to support myself and I have recently seriously had to question if I need to put my music endeavor to the side for now and start another career to make ends meet, which really breaks my heart.
