My songwriting story began back in my college days, sparked by the inspiration of a creative roommate who introduced me to the magic of lyrics and melody. Before long, I found a collaborator, and together we wrote several songs—two of which were recorded by Danny’s Reasons, a popular Minneapolis band at the time.
That early success lit a fire in me. I followed the pull of music to the West Coast, diving into the vibrant Los Angeles scene, writing and exploring new sounds. But as life unfolded—marriage, career, and family—songwriting slowly took a back seat.
Years later, I found myself drawn back to those notebooks and melodies that had never quite faded. I dusted off my lyric library, revisited old favorites, and even saw one song—co-written with John Paul Jones, a talented bandleader from Iowa—brought to life by a performing artist.
Fueled by that renewed spark, I began blending old-school songwriting with new-school technology. With the help of AI, I reimagined and produced an album called “Rewind,” a tribute to both where I started and where I’m headed next.
Today, I’m continuing to write, refine, and explore new creative partnerships. I’m actively seeking collaborations with publishers and recording artists who share a passion for meaningful lyrics and timeless storytelling through song.
