Born and raised on Chicago's westside. My family was always deeply rooted in music from gospel to jazz. Older family members were part of popular doo-wop groups that gained local fame by performing a Cappella covers of tunes of that era so i picked up on vocal training for pitch and control. My writing style hovers around the classic R&B/Soul genres. But i also write popular and hip-hop songs.
