Mami Mia's musical journey began after her diagnosis with SLE Lupus, after which she swore she’d live her most fulfilled life. Since then, she attended NYU’s ’18 Summer Songwriting program, was named "Most Likely to Write a Hit Song," by Beatstars (2021). In 2023, she received JHNY WZDM’s “222 Award,” as well as HRDRV’s “People’s Choice” Award '24. Celebrated for her "effortless" stage presence, she's performed around the US, most notably as an official South by Southwest (SxSW) Artist in 2024 and has opened for acts such as Jennaske and HBK's Dave Steezy.
