Lefty

Born 1965 in Switzerland. Lefty started with music as a little boy. First steps on music he did on flute and english horn. His first guitar was a present of his godfather as he was sixteen years old.

From musician to producer
While he learned to play the guitar he founded and played in different bands. The first two albums Lefty hired a studio with engineer. The costs of the productions were immense. As the developement of recording technique proceed and hd recording got affordable he started his own recordings.

Songwriter and arranger
One of the strengths of Lefty is doubtless the songwriting. Creating melodies, harmonies and beats means the highest pleasure for him. Very often he works on a small piece of music more than one week and he never lose the passion or the general survey. Lefty plays, arranges and produces every instrument himself.

From the mountains to the sea
2018 Lefty moved from the mountains of Switzerland to Germany. He lives now on an island in the east sea. The sound of the album Elements is influenced by the new home place near the sea.
