Kerry Dunker began his music and drumming career at age 13, developing an early passion for rhythm and percussion that would shape his creative path. An award-winning percussionist in high school, he went on to perform in multiple bands before co-founding ROPE in 2001. The band toured the tri-state region of Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas through 2012, building a strong regional following.

A multi-instrumentalist and self-produced artist, Kerry taught himself guitar, vocals, handpan, recording, and production. His releases include Petrified by Flatland Rock (2016) and the EP Transformation (2025) under KDunkerMusic. Today, he continues expanding his rhythmic voice as both a recording artist and Drum Circle Facilitator. Kerry’s work is driven by one core principle: bringing rhythm to life in ways that move people and elevate story.
