Jimmy has been writing songs since the age of 17 - starting with “Little Jimmy Drunkens”, performed live by Jimmy and the Whitewalls. After years of visiting Nashville and getting on stage in the Broadway bars of the mid-1990s, Jimmy first moved down to pursue his dream of being an entertainer in Nashville in 1998. In 2000, Jimmy moved back to Kenosha, Wisconsin and spent time with family - a time in his life he cherishes for the time he was able to spend with his nephews Tyson (Bud) and Tanner. Nashville never left his heart and he returned in 2007 and has remained ever since. Jimmy has lived in and around Nashville, TN since 2007 and has played up and down Broadway, on Music Row, at writer’s nights…with some of the most memorable moments playing with friends on stage and at their homes. The truck driving life drew him away from performing downtown in 2011, but he never stopped writing and performing whenever he could. On January 12, 2025, Jimmy had his first recording played on Roots Radio 89.5FM, WMOT out of Murfreesboro, TN - during the Local Brew set - the song “Never Comin’ Home to Me”. His first four released songs have been streamed across the globe.
