John Beyer Music

Growing up in New York to the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Billy Joel & Barry Manilow…John Beyer has always wanted to sing and entertain. His love for music came from his mother who would have him sing along to the above artists and more.

“I had a dream of being a professional singer in my youth but life took me in another direction.” said John.

A chance meeting with “The Captain” (professionally known as songwriter/producer Benjamin Hey!) would help steer John back towards his music dreams. Over the last few years, the pair have released six collaborations through John’s music production imprint aptly named John Beyer Music (JBM🎼)

​First up to bat, was John’s debut song, “Powerless”…an emotion-filled ballad that reflects on the harrows of addiction and the gift of recovery. Next up from the JBM imprint, were the Benjamin Hey! led singles, “Ra-ta-tat-tat” & “No Samples” which respectively deal with themes of inner-city gun violence and the desire for ultimate romantic love.

​2023 saw John leading a dramatic pop/rock vengeance-themed song called “Revenge,” written by his right-hand collaborator, Benjamin Hey! In the video, John got to utilize his natural acting ability and turn up the campiness by tapping into an alter ego called “Drama Pop.”

John’s next single…“Love You More“…became the baby of his catalog. It’s a sweet song that took years in the making and is dedicated to his daughter and granddaughter. It’s an upbeat pop/rock bopper that has elements of Elvis, David Bowie and Harry Styles. The song is receiving national airplay, a career first for John.

His latest single…”Big Girl,” has John rocking it out with powerhouse vocalist, Mia Gentile, in a battle of dad vs daughter. The song, written by The Captain Benjamin Hey!, has John tapping into his “Drama Pop” persona once again.

The Adult Contemporary/Rock song, has John & Mia delivering a captivating vocal performance that gives the listener an inside peek into family tension. The song co-produced by Arthur Pingrey is sure to turn heads and ears as it showcases John’s expansive vocal range.
