I started out as a self-taught musician, learning by ear starting at the age of 9 years old. Later, I attended Berklee College of Music (Boston) where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Composing Music for Film, TV and Gaming, graduated with top honors "Summa Cum Laude."
My strengths are in composing music for film, scoring the music for live performance (if needed), and orchestrating. I specialize in all types of music for film such as orchestral, cinematic, symphonic, dramatic, adventure, comedy as well as many genres of mainstream music. I have a state of the art recording studio where I write and record all of my music.
My greatest asset is that I can write to film immediately while watching the film for the first time. In fact, I prefer it. I can usually sketch an entire film during the first view. My composer influences include John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith, Howard Shore and Danny Elfman to name a few. I work with Dorico software to aid in turning musical compositions into music scores for live and/or studio performance and recording, if needed.
