Jim Thacker is the owner of Kazen Music Group as well as a Music Producer/Songwriter/Musician. Kazen Music is a catalog and cooperative of artists and producers that create and rep music for TV/Film. With experience in many facets of the music industry, and with hundreds of placements in Film, TV and Advertising, Kazen has had multiple placements in the past year in films starring the likes of Robert De Niro, Dennis Quaid, Cam Giganet John Malkovich and others, along with multiple television placements ranging from Young & The Restless to SWAT. Jim and Kazen have a unique approach to pitching music that is honest, writer-friendly, and focused on building a long-term professional network of music supervisors, advertising execs, directors, etc. A long time Taxi member as well, Jim has made many of his friendships and connections via Taxi and largely through the Rally itself.
