Ian Lee is the principal songwriter for indie rock group The Cle Elum.
Ian started out playing drums in dozens of bands, playing on 15 different records over many years. He has recorded with John Agnello, Jim Diamond and Mike Hagler and more. He runs a tour bus company Affordable Tour Solutions with his wife Sarah Sargent.
When the touring music industry shut down in 2020 Ian began writing songs on guitar and piano. Sarah on drums.
The resulting batch of songs was released on their debut in Aug 2024. The Cle Elum’s debut record It’s Ok If It Falls Apart.
They have been touring since and Ian has continued writing in many genres to continue expanding his hook filled song craft
