The Revolutionary Ward is the title of a musical project created by Singer/Songwriter Chris Fazio. I started playing guitar at age 13 after watching some friends have a garage jam in 1983. I quickly bought a cheap guitar and started to play. In 1984 I started taking lessons at ASM Music Studios in North Lauderdale Florida. My teachers were Albie Negro and Dan Warner R.I.P. Sadly Dan passed away in 2019. That only lasted about 4 months as my family could not afford lessons anymore. So I started to teach myself how to play and develop my ear.
My first influences were Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen. Then Yngwie Malmsteen. I quickly realized I would not be able to SHRED like Yngwie so, I made a commitment back then to focus on songwriting instead. To be a really good songwriter. I have written and copyrighted over 160 completed songs. I have written around 300 original songs total. I have played in bands mostly from 1988 to 2003. Then I began a solo acoustic guitar gig in 2013. I have played around 225 gigs as a solo artist in the Tri-County area.
Through shear luck and good fortune, I sent a demo of songs to a local studio producer/engineer and we quickly started to record 6 of my songs. Just about all 6 songs I played Guitar, Bass and Vocals. The 6 songs from this particular studio are very well written produced and recorded. I hired world class musicians to record Drums, Horns, Synth, Back-Up Vox, Fiddle all thanks to my engineer. My goal is to become a Full Time client to and for Taxi and spread the music around the world.
