Garrett Matteo

From the smallest state in the USA, where Garrett Matteo was born and raised, comes a boom full of sound and love that’ll blow you away! As a singer/songwriter/musician, Garrett brings catchy melodic phrases with anthem sounding choruses. This music will move you with grooves that will make you dance and sing along. Garrett’s sound will take you from Pop Rock to Synth Pop to Dance Pop to Poppy Pop. We don’t know what Poppy Pop is, but we like it! His songs always carry a lot of energy and fervency. Garrett has a strong devotion to God and his family which shows in his music, bringing joy and encouragement to the listener while inspiring faith and hope.

Garrett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at Rhode Island College (RIC) where he was a voice major and sang with the RIC Chorus and the RIC Chamber Singers. He has been leading worship teams as a singer and guitarist in churches for 25 years, but has turned his focus in recent years to songwriting. A large portion of his repertoire is Christian music often geared towards modern praise and worship. He has written other types of works including some electronic instrumental soundtrack type pieces.

Garrett loves spending time with his family. He lives in Rhode Island with his beautiful wife Adriana who truly is an amazing woman. They have been blessed with two wonderful daughters Abby and Elizabeth. They also have a dog named Tucker who loves to jump and loves any heated area, especially under the blankets.
