Emily Bourn

I'm a 28-year-old British singer-songwriter originally from the Orkney Islands in Scotland. Now based in Dubai, I work full-time as a professional singer and guitarist. Songwriting is my biggest passion — especially crafting strong melodies and emotionally resonant lyrics. I’ve often been told I have a natural instinct for writing great hooks, and I take pride in creating songs that connect. My main influences include Taylor Swift, The 1975, Lorde, Gracie Abrams, and Ed Sheeran. While I lean toward pop and synth-pop, I also write across folk, country, and indie rock. I began performing early and toured with Matt Cardle at just 14 — and I’ve been immersed in music ever since.
