I started Eclectics Arts to provide a means to take my poems, stories, essays and lyrics and convert them into marketable songs. I use AI tools to help craft the music and to provide vocals but the heart of it all, the lyrics I provide. I have played the guitar and dulcimer for over 40 years and have a great singing voice myself, what I usually lack is time. Using AI tools helps me create faster. I select the moods, music types and styles and then make as many cuts as is needed to create the proper sound I want my lyrics to use to make their expression exactly, or as near as exactly as I want.
I have sung in choirs, revival groups, solo, cut a record, been on radio and performed live. But face it, who wants to see a 70 year old codger up on stage? Anyway, in my life I have sailed on nuclear submarines, worked in nuclear power plants, worked with computers, travelled to over 2 dozen countries, visited all the continental USA states. I have been happily married 53 years, made friends, lost friends, suffered the deaths of friends and families and seen the effects of war and conflict. I was alive during the riots and bombings of the Viet Nam era and of course seen all the conflicts and issues since then. I bring all this experience into my music.
I also write, do photography, paint, do woodworking, blacksmithing and jewelry making as well as do remote computer support. Father of 2, grandfather to 7.
