I’m a veteran performer and American songwriter who’s been writing since 1988, drawing from real life rather than trends. My songs are rooted in honest storytelling, family, loss, resilience, and hard-earned perspective—focused on lyrics that feel lived-in, emotionally direct, and authentic, paired with strong hooks and melodies that serve the story. Songwriting and performing runs deep in my family including my Grandmother Ethel Ponce and the Ponce Sisters. I am a proud member of ASCAP.
My influences draw from real-life experiences, modern Americana and country storytellers, as well as classic outlaw and roots-driven blues songwriting traditions. I write primarily in modern country, Americana, Southern rock, and blues-leaning styles, with an emphasis on songs that connect on a human level and translate well for artist pitches, film/TV, and sync opportunities.
I approach songwriting with a professional, collaborative mindset and an understanding of today’s industry demands. My goal is simple: to write songs that feel real, sound timeless, and stay with the listener long after the final chord fades. My songs expose the emotions in person they never knew they had.
