The Movemakers
Las Vegas, Nevada
Dre Allen has been a force in the music industry since 1995, building a multifaceted career as a recording artist, songwriter, and producer. As the founder of The Movemakers, his dynamic writing and production collective, Allen blends R&B with pop, country, and rock influences, creating a distinctive sound that has earned placements across major labels and film soundtracks.
A former member of the platinum-selling 1990s R&B group IV Xample, Allen achieved commercial success early in his career before expanding his reach behind the scenes. As a songwriter and producer, his work has been featured on dozens of major releases, including projects for Big Boi (OutKast), Montell Jordan, Jesse Powell, Will Downing, Az Yet, Babyface, and more. His songs have also appeared on landmark projects such as The Hav Plenty Soundtrack and NBA Jam Session, and he has contributed to multiple Grammy-nominated albums.
Now based in Las Vegas after nearly three decades in Hollywood, Allen continues to write daily under The Movemakers brand and is currently focused on building a catalog for sync licensing in film, television, and digital media.
