I am a songwriter, educator, and former broadcaster who grew up in a small town in Kentucky. A few of my favorite writers include Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, and Kristofferson, but I am not locked into a specific genre. My job is to tell the story using great lyrics then use instrumentation and melody to fit the story. In my world the lyrics ALWAYS win.
