I picked up the guitar at 16 and was immediately hooked on creating sound, no matter my skill level. At Indiana University, I studied Sound Design with a minor in music, often sneaking into practice spaces to play piano.
After college, I moved to Indianapolis and started The Dwellers, a DIY band that self-released over a dozen albums and played house shows and late-night Hoosier bars. Beyond The Dwellers, I became a versatile sideman in the Indianapolis music scene, playing bass, melodica, guitar, and even drums.
In 2020, looking for a deeper creative outlet, I launched Loud Diamond, a solo instrumental project with the goal of composing for film and media. Following the birth of my daughter in 2021, I founded Ameliorate Records, which released 2 Minutes in Indiana—a compilation featuring 20 Hoosier artists. The album’s vinyl pressing sold out and was named one of 2022’s best by Indianapolis Monthly.
In 2023, I reunited with my longtime songwriting partner John Wick to form Wick, releasing our debut album on vinyl. In 2025, I’m opening a studio/label/production house in Indianapolis, focusing on sync licensing and expanding creative collaborations.
