Adam SoRelle: Crafting Deep Reflections in Sound
Hailing from Toledo, Ohio, and now calling Friday Harbor, Washington, home, singer-songwriter Adam SoRelle has been performing passionate live music since 1998. A Singer-Songwriter with heavy 90’s Alternative influences, Adam's music is a journey through thoughtful lyrics and rich, acoustic landscapes.
At the heart of his solo sound is the distinctive tones of an 8-string Taylor Baritone guitar, creating a deep, resonant acoustic experience. Adam's upcoming self-produced album, "Conscious Revolution Part 2," set to release in 2025, is a testament to his dedication to crafting and refining his solo identity.
"Conscious Revolution" is more than just an album; it's a thematic exploration of deep, reflective thinking, brought to life through layered vocals and the unique timbre of the 8-string baritone. Written and performed entirely by Adam, the album showcases his prowess as a solo artist, highlighting clever lyrics, passionate emotional performance, and innovative musical progressions.
Adam's musical journey is punctuated by a series of noteworthy collaborations and accomplishments. His first original album, "I Want to Live," released by the band 427 in 2012, earned the distinction of Best New Album of the Year in the Black Swamp Ohio area. He has also lent his talents to projects such as Carpenter's Brother and played a multifaceted role in the creation of "The Nature of Things," an album by his father, Jack SoRelle.
In 2018, Adam, alongside Mark Ulinski, formed the folk/americana duo Dragonfly, releasing their debut album, "Jumping Off." The musical journey continued in 2023 with the self-titled "Dragonfly" album, featuring the collaborative efforts of bassist Joel Simon and drummer Rob Donaldson, recorded at Rustbelt Studios in Detroit, Michigan.
As the anticipation builds for the release of "Conscious Revolution Part 2," Adam SoRelle stands at the crossroads of past achievements and future sonic explorations, ready to make a lasting impact with his introspective and evocative musical offerings.
