Harri Isosomppi

Hi,

I am Harri from Finland. I’ve been dabbling with music more than 20 years now, being mostly a rock music songwriter and arranger in various bands. I’ve been quite talented in songwriting from the early days, but in my twenties i among the others noticed my very cinematic style of writing, and many stated i should be making music for films as these pieces always evokes very strong feelings.

I’ve always been into visuals, cinema, photography etc. and i think this is kind of the reason to the way i approach music, as i always see the movie reels in my head when writing and arranging. My artistic hustle is an vintage style based interior design, and these endeavors go hand in hand as i kind of approach everything with the same visual sense, be it music, interiors or photography. I always kind of build a story and ”movie scene” in my head as i create. My style of writing can be described as grand, noir, witty, catchy. So whenever there is a need for goose bumps evoking grand tunes, i am your man. I can come up with The Great Gatsby kind of Lana’s Young And Beautiful as well as say instrumentals like the ones in Succession, Gotham or Dollar trilogy.

I am a multi instrumentalist and my main instruments being Guitar and Piano. I live in a little town in my artist house with the two legendary cats. Here we keep burning the midnight oil in our sleepy neighborhood.

So here i am, now it is the time to set this thing going!
