Prince Flair
Born and raised in St. Luca, but now based in Toronto, Canada. Patrick
James, aka Prince Flair has captured the hearts and souls of listeners
worldwide with his soothing and euphoric vocals and extremely talented
songwriting. With roots set in Country music, Flair’s musical influences
developed throughout the years, embracing the sounds of Calypso, Reggae, and R&B.

Ever since the age of four years old after beating on a few paint cans which he considered to be
his first set of drums, Prince Flair was destined to bring his talent to the stage and share his gift
with the world, most notably having performed to over twenty thousand people at the Calypso
competition at Carnival time.

Prince Flair is an established singer/songwriter with his eyes set on becoming an international
superstar, a real flair for writing infectious music and relatable narratives. Inspired greatly by
sounds and the things that surround him, the artist’s music journey began early. At the age of
12, Prince Flair started learning the guitar and would be seen around the neighborhood with it.

Being an avid storyteller, Prince Flair is greatly influenced by real life, drawing inspiration for his
music from personal experiences and hardships, allowing him to invoke strong emotions in
people. Apart from invoking emotions, he also seems to have a unique innate competency to
ingeniously present music in multiple styles, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the
factors that makes this artist great.
Not only recognized as a singing powerhouse, Prince Flair is also a brilliant music engineer,
having built his own music studio ‘Big Dreams Music’ where he recorded his Country album

‘In My Own Words’ and produced Reggae albums ‘Bad Dreams’ and ‘Mama Cry’ a compilation
album which features thirteen artists including himself. ‘Mama Cry’ soon went on to be
nominated for four awards at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards.
Having hurdled over many musical obstacles that the music industry has thrown at him, Prince
Flair continues to thrive as he showcases his many talents to the world.
