What I like most about this song

I dig the Human League vibe. Good production / underscore for the era / style requested. I like the vocals / harmonies during the chorus.

I think you could improve this song by

The production / sonic qualities work great for the listing. However, I feel like the vocals could be more compelling during the verses i.e. :19 - :35 / 1:26 - 1:43. They're too monotone and a bit pedestrian. I'd consider revising.

For Synthwave / Synthpop, I'd incorporate a synth / keyboard solo instead of guitars.

The vocals could use a revamp. The guitar solo, while good, is not quite the right fit.
