Russell Bennett

I am a professional trumpet player and composer based in London, England. I began playing in Brass Bands at an early age and went on to study classical music at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. On the trumpet I have performed across the world in a wide variety of different ensembles and genres ranging from Symphony Orchestras, such as guest principle with the LSO, Sinfonia of London, CBSO and BBC Concert Orchestra to Big Bands such as Harry Connick Jnr and Micheal Buble. I have been fortunate enough to perform at many iconic venues including the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC proms on numerous occasions as well as the main stage at Glastonbury. I have also performed and recorded with artists such as Dua Lipa and Seth Mcpharlane as well as for numerous Films, radio and TV shows. I have composed music for and performed in many jazz ensembles at jazz festivals across the UK and have written and recorded music for Brass ensemble.
