was born in 1985 in Caserta. Music has always been a catalyst for me, even before I started playing and actively experiencing it. I've always felt it could be my preferred channel of expression, ever since I was 6 or 7 years old, when I'd lock myself in my father's car and listen to cassettes of old '70s and '80s rock classics. Initially, drums were the first seed of my interest, and that's how it was for many years, until that seed began to bear unexpected fruit. So, at 13, I began to play on my own, joining bands primarily in the stoner/doom and post-rock scene. The most notable groups are Il Malpertugio and The Black Garden Circus. At 18, I then shifted to a more technically driven approach to music, studying with drummers of a certain caliber on the Italian scene (e.g., Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti, Gaetano Fasano, Roberto Pistolesi, Pino Liberti). Although I've spent countless time and energy building a solid technical and theoretical foundation, I still believe the creative world is made of flights that must always transcend structures. Driven precisely by this need to find new bridges and new avenues of expression, on the cusp of turning 40, I suddenly instinctively threw myself into experimenting with sounds and new instruments, thus becoming a multi-instrumentalist. The turning point in this regard was a traumatic event. As often happens, traumatic events can open unexpected doors. Suddenly, drums became too little, and I felt the need to create an intimate and personal project that was truly 100% mine. Thus, little by little, over the course of several years, the "KLEE" project was born, a dreamlike journey into the depths of the mind that proved to be the catharsis I needed in such a difficult human moment. This project encapsulates the deepest purpose of art and music: to transport the listener to other places. Klee is projections, mirages, and inverted reflections, confronting a reality too often insufficient for human existential hunger. It isn't made up of answers, but rather of whispered questions, hypnosis, and spaces open to inner exploration. In this new approach, unconstrained by a specific genre or band image, I find the unconstrained expressive space I needed.
