The members and guests who joined us for TAXI’s 2023 Road Rally conference would be quick to tell you that it was worth coming from all over the world. The classes and panels were the best we’ve ever done, and the networking was off-the-charts amazing, this year! Here’s another photo dump that will give you an idea of what you missed if you didn’t make it! There’s always this year!
TV Producer, Editor, and Composer, Biagio Messina delivered an incredible presentation showing how music and stems are utilized by TV show producers and editors. The enthusiastic audience members loved it and clearly had plenty follow-up questions when the presentation ended.
Stephanie Reid, Mason Cooper, Ryan Gaines, and Jerry Pilato found a lot of music they liked on the Film and TV Songs Pitch Panel. This panel involves music licensing executives and music supervisors listening to randomly drawn music from TAXI members.
TAXI member Betty Anderson was all smiles when she won a copy of Shortcuts to Hit Songwriting by Author and Songwriting coach Robin Frederick, who packed the ballroom as always. Robin never disappoints!
We have no idea who this performer is, but she is clearly giving it her all during the Open Mic, and we love her for it!
