11-20 SXSW Music Festival
Austin, Texas

Once again, the Austin Convention Center will be the focal point of this week-long celebration of film and music. The SXSW Film Festival will be held March 11-15 with the Music Festival getting started on the 16th. Keynote speaker this year will be Robert Plant with Mavis Staples and Erykah Badu taking part in the music interview portion. Bands from all over the world will appear. Expect performances from The Donnas, Robyn Hitchcock, Billy Idol, The Kills, Aimee Mann, Ronnie Montrose, and top line unsigned acts from around the world.
