Matt Levin

Matt Levin is a film & television music composer who is native to the L.A entertainment landscape. Growing up as a trained classical pianist, Matt has experience playing in all sorts of genres including orchestral, jazz, broadway, and more. Even though he did not formally study music in college, he was able to combine what he learned with his undergraduate degree in psychology, mixed with shadowing numerous film and television composers within the industry, and has applied it towards every one of his works today.

With a versatile toolset and a hunger for challenging projects, Matt has scored two independent films, one of which was featured in 7 different film festivals domestically, with another one soon on the way. He also has music featured in the Emmy-nominated television docuseries "VICE" on Showtime, along with numerous other pieces featured in production music libraries all around the world. In addition, he has assisted award winning composers on the music for various television series, including Investigation Discovery's "True Nightmares" & "Manhunt Unabomber".
