Mike 'Nitro' Morris and Jerry 'J-boy''Scott ("The Torpedoes") grew up together playing in bands and listening to all kinds of music from Hank Williams and George Jones to Miles Davis and John Coltrane - plus everything in between.Their most recent releases are distributed through Tunecore.com and appear on AMAZON & ITUNES and can be seen on You Tube Art Tracks. In spring 2013 they completed "Lost Causes." A track from that CD - "Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry" was featured on TuneCore's SxSW "Power of Independence" compiiation CD/Download in April 2013. Their next CD "Tornado Alley" is was released in December 2014. This eclectic collection consists of 12 tracks done with kind assistance from their friends, The International Mudcats and the Bail Jumpers. Next came "Thicker Than Blood" which features multiple influences, from Leon Russell and the various permutations of the Wrecking Crew to Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart and beyond. February 2017 saw release of their 12 song CD "One More Shot" with elements of Americana, Celtic, Jazz, Standards, Rock and Grunge sprinkled throughout. Mike can be seen performing the title tune live on Facebook's Cayamo Family page. February 2018 brings us the release of the CD "Shadow Train" which is a travelogue - of sorts - throughout the Heartland with stops in Gospel, Bluegrass, Blues, Folk and Rock. As always, it is available on I Tunes, Amazon, et al. Between the spring of 2018 and the summer of 2019 they co-wrote the music for a new musical entitled "Popcorn! 3 Men and a Garage". The play and its music has garnered interest for production regionally and even in New York. MEANWHILE, in later summer 2019 they inked a deal to write and record 4 new songs for possible use on the hit Mike Rowe-narrated TV series, "The Deadliest Catch"! Exciting times in Torpedo land!!!
