About The Choir
The Choir is an atmospheric GRAMMY®-nominated and Dove award winning alternative band, led by Derri Daugherty on guitar and vocals, Steve Hindalong on drums with Tim Chandler on bass guitar, Dan Michaels on saxophone and lyricon and Marc Byrd on guitar. As of 2017, the band has released 14 studio albums, three EPs, five live albums, and one retrospective box set. The band maintains an extensive tour schedule.
The Choir's music has been described by the Los Angeles Times as "magical songs that combine strains of murky psychedelia with pure pop." Billboard praised the band for its "dark poetic leanings, effects-laden guitars and strong melodic hooks".

Boasting a history that spans three decades, this critically-acclaimed lineup continues to garner praise and accolades for their live shows. The Choir has performed nearly 2,000 shows in the US, Canada and Europe since their inception. 2016 saw them touring Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland with German indie rockers Sea+Air.
