Rick Bourassa was born and raised in a small town on the Canadian prairies. He was an avid curler and hockey player. He grew up listening to his parents record collection which included the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard and Glen Campbell to name a few. As a teenager, he listened to 80s hair metal that drove his parents crazy.
He now resides in Calgary, Alberta. He plays bass, electric and acoustic guitar, and sings. He tracks, mixes and masters as well. His primary genres are blues, country, country rock, and singer songwriter.
He is looking to be an active member of the Taxi community and would like to do collaborations.
