After a chance meeting in a bar in Northern Ireland, John Truesdale and Martin Manley discovered a shared interest in music and artists ranging from David Bowie to The Pogues via The Sex Pistols and Dylan and an appreciation of the great Country songwriters from Hank Williams to Jimmy Webb via Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell.
So they decided to try writing some songs together.
With close on fifty fully realized songs now under their belt and many memorable adventures throughout the music capitals of the world - including two unforgettable trips down the leafy sidewalks of Music Row, hustlin' words n' music - they've had an absolute ball paying their dues in the music biz. From being the subject of two documentaries whilst in Nashville to a lifetime of door-stepping artistes from Tina Turner in London to Emmylou in Belfast to Steve Earle in Music City, they continue the joy of writing and creating together in search of those elusive hits.
And the beat goes on...
