Kimberly June (often called "KJ") is an indie-folk-pop singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer, with stylistic influences including Jazz, Blues, Island and Latin. KJ is a true artist, who enjoys writing songs by herself and bringing in co-writers and producers as needed for her projects. KJ has co-written several songs placed on TV shows including ABC's Nashville, Degrassi High and The Rookie. As an artist, she has released two albums of original music and an EP of Acoustic covers- a project with Marti Frederiksen and Danny Myrick. After earning her bachelors in Music Business (Berklee College of Music & Belmont University) she signed a publishing deal on Music Row in Nashville with Tom-Leis Music, under publishing guru Leslie Tomasina Dipiero. She is currently based in Hawaii, writing music and performing all over the state, parts of the continental US and Europe. She has been the supporting act for artists including G. Love, Donovan Frankenreiter, Kimie and Mike Love and performed on the Wanderlust Festival lineup with Corrine Bailey Rae and Allen Stone. With frequent trips to LA and Nashville (and the revolution of Zoom) KJ stays busy collaborating and experimenting with new styles and sounds. Stay up-to-date on JustKJ.com.
