I've been playing music professionally, off and on, for over four decades. I tend to lean towards being a blues/country/jazz player with bit of a Latin influence. (Even a little new age thrown in for fun.) I found that I like slow, simple and, hopefully, tasteful music. Slow, or perhaps patient or relaxed are better words, applies more to the playing of the music than its tempo. I hope this makes sense.
Music is repetitious by nature. I found that I like repetition. Make that love repetition! I think you’ll find this apparent in most if not all of the tunes. In some you will hear the same riff repeated throughout the song. It adds a little continuity and, in some cases, an edge to the music. Sometimes a little like you've had too much caffeine.
I play all parts, bass, acoustic and electric guitars and harmonica. At times you may think you hear a keyboard. All parts, excluding the harmonica, are played on a variety of guitars - bass, acoustic and electric. No keyboard.
You may think you've heard these tunes before, and you may have to some degree, as there are a limited number of combinations in music. Any similarity to other tunes is purely coincidental.
And a very special thanks to my beautiful wife Cathy. She is my #1 cheerleader and convinced me that I could do this. Enjoy!
