Four years after going on hiatus, Jimkata is back with a renewed sense of purpose & an extraordinary new album, 'Bonfires'. Recorded in Syracuse, NY, 'Bonfires' finds the trio digging deep & stretching their boundaries with bold, intoxicating arrangements fueled by swirling synthesizers & anthemic hooks. The songs here are at once modern & classic, blurring the lines between the organic & the electronic as they reckon with doubt, struggle, & perseverance in a search for truth & meaning.

"Bonfires" was released on July 9, 2021. Over 10 months in 2020/2021, Jimkata released (10) singles that culminated into the "Bonfires" album. Each single was accompanied by a captivating music video.
The band performed their first show in over four years on July 30th, 2021 in Trumansburg, NY at the Finger Lakes Grassroots festival site. The show was Jimkata's largest non-festival performance in their history, drawing more than 1200 fans.

Jimkata has had previous premieres and features on past releases with notable press outlets such as Billboard, American Songwriter, Yahoo Music!, Nerdist, PopWrapped, PopDose and Relix among many others. Their music has been featured on NFL on Fox, NBC, NPR, Monster Energy and Levi's Mexico among others.
