James Keeley

James Keeley ("Jimmy") grew up in Hollis, NH playing in bands as a guitarist and songwriter during his high school & college years. He graduated from UMass Lowell in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Sound Recording Technology. He then moved to Los Angeles to work as a Runner at The Record Plant where he would become an Assistant Engineer a year later. After gaining several years of experience as an engineer at The Record Plant James has been credited with working on multiple platinum and gold records by artists like Khalid, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Kane Brown, & Justin Bieber. James is also known for producing & co-writing music for artists Carr, Bel, Maren Hill, Temme Scott, & Marco McKinnis. The song "Strangers" by Carr was featured in an episode of The Bold Type on Hulu. James also releases his own anti-commercial/alternative music under the alias Jimi IV.
