Jae Prophecy

Native to Bronx, NY, and a well-known nomadic 'Staple' in the Carolina underground music community. Touting over +1 Milliion streams each respectively, Jae Prophecy's debut album "The Higher Calling" and follow up EP "THC2: The Heat Check" have cemented his status as an established Independent powerhouse. Working as a co-founder under the Indie Label "Higher Learning Productions LLC" Jae P has utilized his multi-faceted skillset to hone in on mastering his craft in all branches of music. "On a journey that dates back to the late 2000s I've been progressing everyday to get to this point, learning my lesson about how quickly being an artist can get complicated by not having the proper research and knowledge at my disposal. Along the way, although many roadblocks were present against me I never failed at the opportunity to learn from my mistakes, or the the mistakes of my predecessors and apply that acquired knowledge to future endeavors.
Fast forward to the late 2010s, 2017 to be exact, my wife and I welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world and she was immediately rushed away from us for her first of five heart operations that eventually left her with a permanent heart affliction and a pacemaker. Prior to that time, I knew I had the intellect and the talent to rise above adversity, but my mentality on life was considerably ignorant resulting from being unable to escape the inevitability of being a product of my environment. But, the minute I saw all of those tubes sticking out of my daughter, the blood-stained IVs, the feeding tube, the live wires coming out of her chest to keep her heart beating...

It changes a man, no matter how tough he is.

From that day forward, I was done running around in the streets, done being a rebel, done making money in ways that could risk my physical freedom. I took a break, I focused on life itself and being the dad that me along with millions of other boys in the hood didn't have, and the husband that I never witnessed through childhood growing up fatherless. I was able to harness a newfound inspiration from life which fuels the energy behind my releases. I've spent so many hours writing and recording 1000's of my own self-produced, self-engineered records that when I gear up for a new release the entire process comes as second nature. My goal is to entertain, educate, and enlighten the masses through music. The Three E's. As an independent artist I do have aspirations towards signing a recording contract with a major label but only when the right opportunity presents itself. I primarily focus on rap/hip hop music but have versatility and adaptability to produce records across all genres (Rock, R&B, Soul, Pop, etc.) with fluidity. In 2019 I won the awards for 'Single of the Summer' under the R&B genre and 'Collab of the Year' under the Hip Hop genre at the Carolina Annual Underground Music Awards. To date I have surpassed over +2million streams across all music streaming platforms attaining international reach even as an independent artist. Even with limited resources on the Indie Market I still will always find a way achieve my goals and put forth more effort than any one in my field of expertise. I am currently gearing up for the release of my third project set to be released in the third quarter of 2022.
