Steve started performing his songs in a High School band and was very excited about how well his songs were received. The band was short lived, but Steve’s desire to write music was just starting. Steve continued to write and evolve, recording demos and attempting to land some industry consideration. For four years, Steve played guitar for Tomorrow’s Promise who later changed their name to Flight 300 while they were pursuing a recording career. Steve helped write original material and played on the group’s demos, as well as appeared in a video for the band in 1979. After garnering serious industry consideration, the group eventually disbanded. Steve continued to write, perform with local cover bands, submit demos while working full time, and eventually started a family. While his family became priority, he never lost the desire and belief that he could write marketable songs. Now that his children are well on their way to adulthood, Steve has resumed writing in earnest to continue his quest for success in the music industry.
