Eryn Michel is a producer, songwriter, singer, and voice actor. Eryn will follow a song wherever it wants to go, but she mainly hangs out in Americana, country, folk, and modern lullabies. She also thoroughly enjoys writing ambient and tension pieces (especially writing for an assignment).
She served in the U.S. Army as a Civil Affairs Sergeant in Operation Iraqi Freedom, a firearms instructor, and worship leader for battalion chapel. She resides in Maryland with her husband, daughter, mother, their cat Bish and their dog Gus. Before COVID, she could often be seen on a Southwest flight heading to or from Nashville for co-writing trips. To cope with the isolation, she happily Zoom-collaborates with artists and producers all over the U.S. and as far away as Australia.
She has performed in the round at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN and several venues in her local Washington, D.C. area. Eryn serves on the board of the Songwriters' Association of Washington and she is a member of NSAI, TAXI A&R, and the World Folk Music Association. She serves as the the worship curator and principal sound engineer at Clarksburg Church in Clarksburg, MD.
Her accolades include:
