Dave Ricco (Songwriter-Producer)

Born in Bergenfield NJ, Dave begun his musical journey early on in elementary school and worked his way up the grade school classical ladder as a saxophonist. In his high school years, he took on the electric guitar and vocals as an elective, all the while taking advanced music theory classes. By the time he entered his Classical Guitar/Composition bachelors' program at New Jersey City University, he was adept enough to tutor music theory to his peers. Throughout his late school years, Dave participated in many rock and various genre music groups outside of his academics. His hard rock outfit "Ascending From Ashes" operated for over 10 years under Darkscale Media Management, having shared stages with reputable acts such as Dark Sky Choir, Evans Blue, Taproot, and many others. Their producer, John Moyer (bass player for "Disturbed") also helped a great deal in shaping their early sound. Nowadays, Dave is currently working on a new rock project, while producing and engineering for numerous local country, pop, and rock artists such as Lauren Davidson (NJ), Ben O' Connor (RI), Charred Graves (NJ), Aless Rueda (NJ), Joel Extranjero (NJ), and many many others.
