Brent Mathews

While his early songwriting as a teenager gained the likes of Universal Records and mTV, Brent admittedly abandoned his creative pursuit for several years to start a family.

Now a - revived! - independent musician and songwriter based in Atlanta, this run is more fearless, mature, purposeful, and definitive in pursuit: create melodic atmospheres with honest vocals, big drums, and lots of instrumental depth.


In 2020, Brent quit his corporate job and commuted back and forth to Nashville to record with producer Nate Dodge (@natedodgemusic).

The result was a 7 track collection, Reverie, which has amassed over 250,000 streams since its release in September 2021 without any formal marketing support.

His most recent single, ‘Cincinnati’, was produced by Chris Calimerri (@chriscamilleri), who also played drums & bass on the track - to date it’s amassed nearly 20,000 streams in 2 months.
