Alan Moore is a UK instrumental composer, pianist and music teacher. He is a music graduate, music teacher, and is classically trained (BA Hons, Dip.Mus, PGCE). Alan was a classroom music teacher to 11-18 year olds and was Head of Music in two establishments. Now, he creates piano and instrumental music (solo piano, neo-classical, orchestral, New Age) from his studio on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, UK.
He has several albums available on all the major streaming platforms and Bandcamp. His first album was called 'Heritage' and featured in the UK's 'English Heritage' magazine. It received attention from labels, radio shows (including the BBC), newspapers and from social media fans. Several tracks were also awarded 5 star Commended Entries in the 'UK Songwriting Contest'.
When not writing music, Alan teaches the piano to adults and children and enjoys hiking across the Moors and Wolds close to his home.
