Now that the Republicans are gone, it's time for a convention that will really bring hope and joy to thousands of people—the yearly CMJ Music Marathon. Held at the Jacob Javits Center and the Westin Hotel, this year's panels will include Surviving in the Independent Music Business, Bridging Street and Underground, Music's New World Order, Navigating the Techniques of Radio Promotion, Anatomy of a Music Video, Major, Indie or DIY? and literally dozens of others.
