Last year we told you about Crossfade's major label signing with Columbia/FG Records (formerly known as Earshot). After fierce determination, hard work, and perseverance, the band has been steadily climbing that steep hill of commercial success.

So what have they been up to?

The album, originally scheduled for release last summer (but delayed while the label re-shuffled its executive deck), was finally released in April 2004. Since the release, their first single, "Cold," climbed the rock radio charts and spent four weeks at No. 2, being rivaled only by Velvet Revolver. Recently, the band broke into the top 30 on the alternative rock radio charts.

So, with all this excitement on the charts and in the band, you would think they'd be taking some time to sleep and rest, right? Nope. Crossfade is looking forward to its upcoming U.S. summer tour. The band will also be making some promotional stops in Toronto and Quebec City in mid-August.

Besides touring, you'll also see these guys on a TV near you. The video for "Cold" was recently submitted to national and regional outlets for play rotation. Crossfade also secured deals to place portions of the "Cold" single and video in national commercials for MTV2, FUSE, Sports Talk Radio, and some rock specialty shows.

We will keep you updated as the band continues to climb the charts, tour the states, and develop new deals and material. In the meantime, you can visit the band's site at www.crossfadeonline.com. And be sure to call your local radio station and request to hear the new single.

See How TAXI Works

"You guys ROCK! In a rather daunting industry, you guys are an oasis! The positive win/win mission of TAXI stands alone in an otherwise ego-oriented, money-driven industry."
