Rusty Red Wagon, the song by TAXI member Elliott Park that was recently on Hold for Diamond Rio, (see the May Issue of the Transmitter here) has now been held by Country superstar Tim McGraw.
When Diamond Rio decided not to go in the studio as planned, Elliott’s song was immediately snatched up by McGraw’s camp.
Once again, we must make the point that success is about the song, more than the demo. Listen to Elliott’s simple but well-done 4-track, piano and vocal demo here:
